Candy Shorts price in 2026: what does each plan cost?
You pay by plan, not by episode: membership is how most of the catalog is sold, and the first 2 episodes of every series cost nothing. When we checked on October 14, 2026, the paywall showed three plans in US dollars.
| Plan | Per month | Billed | Paywall label | Cost over 12 months | Saving vs monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Annual | $3.99 | $47.88 per year | 70% off | $47.88 | $120.00 |
| Quarterly | $8.99 | $26.97 every 3 months | 35% off | $107.88 | $60.00 |
| Monthly | $13.99 | $13.99 per month | None | $167.88 | None |
A note on the labels: measured against the $13.99 monthly price, the annual plan is about 71% cheaper and the quarterly about 36% cheaper, so the paywall’s 70% and 35% badges are, if anything, slightly modest. The paywall also pairs the discount with a countdown timer, so read these as a live offer rather than a permanent rate. They were accurate on the date above, and you can see today’s price on the paywall before you commit.
Which Candy Shorts membership plan should you choose?
Choose by how long you expect to keep watching, not by the headline discount.
- Monthly ($13.99). For a single month of curiosity. Two months already cost $27.98, which is more than a full quarter.
- Quarterly ($8.99 a month). The middle road. It beats monthly as soon as you stay a second month, and one quarter costs $26.97.
- Annual ($3.99 a month). The best rate by a distance, and the right call if you’ll watch beyond three months. Four months of monthly costs $55.96 and two quarters cost $53.94, against $47.88 for the year.
The table below turns that into running totals: what you’d have paid by each month if you start on day one and keep the plan going.
| Plan | 1 month | 2 months | 3 months | 4 months | 6 months | 12 months |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $13.99 | $27.98 | $41.97 | $55.96 | $83.94 | $167.88 |
| Quarterly | $26.97 | $26.97 | $26.97 | $53.94 | $53.94 | $107.88 |
| Annual | $47.88 | $47.88 | $47.88 | $47.88 | $47.88 | $47.88 |
Read across and the pattern is plain. Monthly is cheapest only if you stay a single month, quarterly wins for months two and three, and annual wins from month four onward.
One caution: the annual price commits you to paying, not to watching. Cancelling renewal stops the next charge, but under the Terms purchases are generally non-refundable. If you’re not sure the format suits you, spend the free episodes first and commit after. A Candy Shorts membership works best for people who have already confirmed they like the stories.
What does the cost per series actually work out to?
Per-month prices hide the number that matters, which is what each story costs you. The annual plan’s $47.88 divided by 12 is $3.99 a month, or about 13 cents a day. Over a full year, the monthly plan costs about 46 cents a day and the quarterly plan about 30 cents. The table below applies the same maths per series, assuming you finish a given number of series each month, rounded to the cent.
| Series finished per month | Monthly plan | Quarterly plan | Annual plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $13.99 | $8.99 | $3.99 |
| 2 | $7.00 | $4.50 | $2.00 |
| 4 | $3.50 | $2.25 | $1.00 |
Most series are five episodes (133 of the 145), and the first two are free, so each one has three paid episodes. There are 145 series to choose from, and Candy AI says new episodes arrive every week. These figures are illustrations, not promises. Watch less than you planned and the cost per series rises, which is the real argument for sampling before you pay.
What does a Candy Shorts membership include?
The paywall lists four perks: unlimited access to the paid stories, high-quality streaming, watching anytime and anywhere, and no ads or interruptions. After you buy, you’re asked to confirm your account to keep access, so do that straight away.
Those prices are for the Shorts membership. People searching for Candy AI pricing 2026, Candy AI tokens or Candy AI premium usually mean the companion side of the app, which runs on tokens for chat, voice, image and video and advertises a free trial. That’s a separate product with its own pricing, so if you’re asking how much Candy AI costs in that sense, check the app’s own pages. We don’t quote token prices or tokens-per-episode figures because we can’t verify them.
How do guest checkout, tokens and pay-per-view work?
Guest checkout lets you pay without first creating a Candy.ai account. You get immediate access, then you have about 7 calendar days to claim your account on Candy.ai. If you don’t, the subscription is cancelled and not renewed, so it’s a convenience rather than a loophole.
A limited number of episodes is included with guest checkout, and further episodes can be unlocked with tokens. More broadly, the Terms say content is generally sold on subscription, or as otherwise disclosed at checkout, with pay-per-view as the example. The sensible rule is to read what the checkout screen says you’re buying before you confirm. When tokens or pay-per-view appear, check the price shown against the plans above.
Do taxes, auto-renewal and refund rules change the price?
| Topic | What the terms and paywall say |
|---|---|
| Taxes | Local taxes may apply on top of the listed price |
| Renewal | All plans auto-renew; you can cancel renewal anytime |
| After cancelling | Access continues to the end of the current billing period, then the account reverts to the free version |
| Refunds | Generally non-refundable; a discretionary refund may be issued if requested within 24 hours of payment and you have not streamed anything; card payments only |
| Chargebacks | A chargeback immediately cancels access |
| Support | support@candymail.ai, or Contact Us inside the service |
In practice the real price is the listed price plus any local tax, and you should treat it as final. If you decide to stop, our guide to cancelling Candy Shorts walks through the steps. Unused tokens from a cancelled period don’t carry over.
How do you keep your Candy Shorts spend under control?
- Sample first. The free episodes are the only part of the service you can test at no risk, so use them on several series before paying.
- Cancel renewal right after you buy. If you only want one period of access, you can cancel renewal straight away and still keep access until the end of the period you paid for. That removes the risk of a forgotten second charge.
- Check the currency. Prices are shown in US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add its own fee, so check with your card issuer.
- Read tokens and pay-per-view carefully. Where checkout offers them, they apply on top of, or instead of, a membership. Guest checkout, for example, includes a limited number of episodes and unlocks more with tokens.
- Claim a guest-checkout account in time. You have about 7 calendar days, so set a reminder.
The countdown timer makes all of this easy to skip. Slow down at the paywall, because the refund exception disappears the moment you stream anything.
How can you pay for Candy Shorts discreetly?
Charges appear on bank statements as EverAI, a neutral merchant name with no explicit wording. Candy AI states that it uses encrypted transactions, GDPR-compliant privacy practices and discreet billing. The operator is EverAI Ltd. in Malta, and we cover the company details in our legitimacy and safety guide.
Candy AI accepts Visa, Mastercard and crypto (BTC, ETH, USDC, Litecoin and others), so check which options your checkout actually offers. There’s a trade-off: refunds are for card payments only, so paying in crypto leaves you without even the discretionary 24-hour route. Discreet isn’t the same as invisible. If statements or receipts reach other people, think about which card and which email address you use, and keep a chargeback as a last resort, since it cancels access immediately. And if a charge labelled EverAI turns up that you don’t recognise, check your own accounts first, then contact support@candymail.ai before disputing it.
Is Candy Shorts worth the price?
At $3.99 a month, yes, for anyone who’ll watch beyond a few months. At $13.99 a month, only for a short experiment. The deciding factor is how many stories you’ll actually finish, and the free episodes are built to help you find out.
- Watch the first 2 episodes of three or four series from different genres. Our free-episodes guide shows how.
- Note which series you most want to continue.
- Estimate how long you’ll keep watching: one month, three, or more.

Frequently asked questions
How much is Candy Shorts per month?

Is Candy Shorts free?
Partly. The first 2 episodes of every series are free across all 145 series, once you create a free account and confirm your age. Episode 3 onward needs a membership, or tokens or pay-per-view where checkout offers them. Sampling several series first is the cheapest way to decide whether a paid plan is worth it.

How much does Candy AI cost compared with Candy Shorts?
They’re priced separately. Candy Shorts is a membership at $3.99, $8.99 or $13.99 a month depending on the plan. The Candy AI companion app runs on tokens for chat, voice, image and video and advertises a free trial. We don’t quote token prices or tokens-per-episode figures because we can’t verify them.

Charges appear as “EverAI.” That’s a neutral merchant name with no explicit wording, and EverAI Ltd. in Malta is the company behind both Candy Shorts and Candy AI. Candy AI also states that it uses encrypted transactions, GDPR-compliant privacy practices and discreet billing.
Can I get a refund on Candy Shorts?
Rarely. Purchases are generally non-refundable. A discretionary refund may be issued if you ask within 24 hours of payment and have not streamed anything, and refunds apply to card payments only. A chargeback cancels access immediately, so contact support@candymail.ai first and include the details of your purchase.
